Flooseymoo Jewellery Events 2020
After much deliberation we have, sadly, decided that during the current pandemic we cannot justify the risk to our customers or ourselves by trying to attend our events as normal this year.
We have always tried to provide a personal and individual service by offering unique and made-to-measure, one-off items. No-one should consider buying jewellery without handling it and having the opportunity to try it on and there is no really practical or effective way to “sanitise” the pieces between customers or to operate sensible and safe “distancing”. We would certainly not want to develop a “You touch it you’ve bought it” policy.
We appreciate that many organisers and traders have and will continue to go to great efforts to try to trade as “normal” in these very difficult times, however, whilst wishing them well, things cannot be normal under the current circumstances and we do not consider there is any way to offer our jewellery for sale, either at an outdoor market or indoor event, without the very real chance of compromising our or others wellbeing and possibly contributing to the spread of the virus.
In the meantime we are exploring the possibility of offering a selection of items for sale by other means and of course welcome any contact (via our website) should anyone wish to discuss any specific requirements.
Hopefully, things will improve next year.
Caroline and Anthony
